Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co, Ltd (Yiyang Rubber) is an affiliate of the China National Chemical Equipment Corp, and a large, State-owned enterprise specializing in heavy-duty rubber machinery.
Its products include sets of equipment, such as internal mixer series, tire shaper vulcanizers, plate vulcanizer units, twin-screw extruders with roll heads, drum vulcanizers (Rotocure), tire production units, engineering vessels, and rotary drilling machines. The mixers, some of its leading products, mainly consist of two types -- tangent and intermeshing – which come in 30 sizes, from 1.5 to 650 liters.
Yiyang Rubber has a strong foundation in R&D, manufacturing and technology, thanks to its scientific research facilities, a state-accredited enterprise technology center, postdoctoral work center, and the Hunan provincial rubber and plastics machine engineering research center. It also has an edge in equipment processing, which puts it in the lead in China’s rubber and plastics machinery industry.
The company has more than 60 inventions and holds Europe’s CE certificate and the United States’ UL certificate. More than 20 of its new products have received the National Science and Technology Progress Award, while seven have filled a vacancy in China’s rubber equipment products, and others were listed on China’s New Key Product Trial Production Plan, National Torch Plan, and the State Critical Technological Equipment Innovation Research Project under the “10th Five-year Plan”. More than 10 of its scientific research projects hold national patents.
Yiyang Rubber was founded in 1970, in the city of Yiyang, Hunan province and has its own dock, so it can transport its goods to Shanghai by water, making transportation quite convenient. Its products have been exported to more 40 countries, such as Japan, the US, the UK, France, Germany and Italy, and hold a prominent place in the field for six successive years.
