Fortune (Chinese) distributed questionnaires online to 35,000 management personnel of Chinese enterprises and got back 1,037 valid ones. In the questionnaire each informant scored those companies by nine indicators, namely, product and service status, long-term investment value, rational use of corporate assets, innovation capability, management effectiveness, financial soundness, capability of attracting and retaining talents, corporate social responsibility, and global operation efficiency.
Each informant shall score enterprises of his own field, but forbidden to choose his own company into the list. The top five of the industry ranked by the total score will make it into the honor roll. ChemChina is one of the top five Chinese companies engaged in the oil and chemical operations.
