On September 7, China National Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. (CNCE) attended an online training seminar on the new “Safety Production Law” hosted by Sinochem Holdings. The training systematically elaborated the background, guiding ideology and highlights of the revised law, detailed about specific provisions, and explained the criminal law provisions concerning workplace safety. Following the training, Liu Tao, Party secretary, chairman and general manager of CNCE, demanded that all departments and subsidiaries should conscientiously study and implement the new law, strengthen the workplace safety and prevent or reduce accidents, so as to secure the safety of workers’ life and property and boost the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.
On September 6, Guilin Rubber Machinery organized a centralized activity of learning the newly revised Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safety Production. Attending the learning were the company’s leaders and personnel holding safety management and other key positions. By watching the video of old and new articles, participants understood the new ideas, new initiatives and new highlights, making it clear that they should always adhere to the principle and guideline of “putting the people and their lives and safety first”. Going forward, Guilin Rubber Machinery will comprehensively publicize the new safety law to cover every line and worker.
On August 31, Fujian Tianhua organized safety officers to focus on learning the new Safety Production Law. Safety Director Zhang Baiqiang explained the commonalities and differences between the old and new versions of the law, requiring that all employees must learn and implement the new Law in their work to better ensure workplace safety. Recently, Fujian Tianhua has popularized new characteristics and requirements of the law through channels such as WeChat official number, OA platform, in-plant banners and publicity boards to create a new atmosphere for workplace safety.

Dalian Factory 4821 has attached great importance to promoting the new Safety Production Law. It has conducted Q&A activity around the law among employees, covering the rights and obligations of operators, basic norms of handling job emergency, and knowledge of personal protection. The activity, strongly raising the safety awareness of employees, has sharpened their skills, enabled every official and worker to be aware of the importance of safety, and enhanced the awareness of prevention and the ability to avoid various accidents. To nip hazards in the bud, the Dalian-based company has served as a disseminator and practitioner of the new law.
On September 6, Shijiazhuang Factory 7420’s Safety and Environment Division organized leaders, heads of departments, safety management personnel, major lessees to attend the training session on the new law. The training session consists of three parts. The first is to brief over the structure of the legal system for safety production; the second is to review the sentencing standards for the main safety-related offences in criminal law; and the third is to focus on interpreting provisions of the new law coupled with its differences from the old one. Through the training, Shijiazhuang Factory 7420 has further elevated the attention of its management and lessee to safety production, strengthened their consciousness of compliance with the law and safety-related precautions, and pushed for the sustainable and healthy development of its safety situation.
