YRPM Signs its Biggest Order

Recently, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co, Ltd (YRPM) has signed a cooperative contract with a large-scale rubber group of China, providing the new project of the latter with rubber tire machinery equipment. It is the largest order YRPM has ever received.

The large rubber group is a key all-steel and half-steel radial tire manufacturer of China. The project is a renovation project of the group’s smart factor. The contract involves several AI GE580/GE1000T super-large tandem internal mixer, AI GN300 final mixer, AI XJY-ZS936/416 twin-screw extrusion press, 51'' S1 balance-type servo hydraulic vulcanizing machine and 52'' S1 frame-type hydraulic vulcanizing machine.

According to Chairperson of the rubber group, the new project is smart, green, efficient and energy-saving. YRPM aims to build itself into a “lights-out factory” and a benchmarking factory. All the equipment selected in the project are top suppliers at home and abroad.

In recent years, based on its advantages of internal mixer technologies, Yiyang Rubber has closely followed the front trends of industrial development and market needs, intensified its efforts for innovative development and market application and promotion of large-size tandem internal mixer and large-scale tangential series internal mixers, and formed a rich product portfolio. Specifically, GE420/GE800T tandem internal mixer and GE580/GE1000T tandem internal mixer, after being introduced, have been highly recognized by customers for their large output, high efficiency and low energy consumption. GE580/GE1000T tandem internal mixer is particularly suitable for mixing of sizing materials with lots of white carbon black. With its dispersion of carbon black much higher than that of traditional internal mixer, GE580/GE1000T tandem internal mixer is the first-choice rubber mixing equipment for producing green tires with low rolling resistance. Compared with traditional tangential internal mix 400, GE580/GE1000T tandem internal mixer has greater advantages, its production capacity has been more than doubled, saving energy by 20%-50%, the dust emission has been reduced by about 60%, saving the oil use by about 60% and reducing the number of rubber mixing operators by 50%.

All the internal mixers for this project use the advanced HV AC permanent self-direct drive and full servo hydraulic drive technology (silent drive technology). The reducer has been reduced from three-stage transmission to one-stage transmission. The maximum speed of revolution of motor is 300rpm. The reducer thin oil station and motor fan have been removed, reducing the noise by 10-15dB (A). The servo hydraulic system features simple and reliable control, high precision, high speed, energy saving and noise reduction. In addition, AI control has been adopted for internal mixer and twin screw for the first time in the tire industry, and manual control and remote control systems are also used. The saving, updating, optimization and management of the smart rubber mixing control system and the smart mixer operation & maintenance model can be carried out on the AI control platform of factory server and deployed online.
