The Guilin Rubber Machinery Factory's marketing center recently got an order for 14 vulcanizers from the US' Firestone for an extension project. The company stands among all competitors and has become the sole company to get orders from Firestone for vulcanizers and continue its connection with this part of the US market.
Tire inventories worldwide are currently suffering from a glut and investors are adopting a wait-and-see attitude, with fewer vulcanizers being ordered, which of course has an effect on downstream enterprises. In view of these conditions, GRM's getting this order is significant, but also a reflection of the factory's concentration on marketing and after-sales services, as well as management performance and improved effort.
