To help workers keep their passion even during a market downturn, the company is providing skills training for personnel in all workshops, and is strengthing management, and increasing safety- and quality-awareness.
The heads of the riveting and welding, metal processing, and assembly departments have seen that even hard times are a good time to increase employees' skills. So, the factory is stressing work discipline, providing training, and giving written exams, and even actual machine operation competitions. It is increasing safety awareness and quality awareness throughout the factory. Field assembly work and quality have improved, with sub-par products being eliminated daily and weekly. The work sites are clearer, better organized and clean and the training -- from planning to mobilizing and organizing, to choosing textbooks and trainers, to stimulated situations -- is well-organized and results-oriented, with every employee involved in the entire process.
