Guilin Rubber Machinery has wrapped up its selection process for middle managers and supervisors, for 2013, as part of a decade-long competitive hiring process whose purpose is to improve core management through a survival-of-the-fittest approach, and at the same time provide more opportunities for young competitive employees.
There were 15 young employees applying for mid-level jobs this year and eight standouts were chosen. There are 36 people selected for the mid management team, 47 percent in their 30s, and 8 percent who are 25-30-year-olds. In recent years, managers have tended to become younger.
