Guilin Rubber Machinery has seen some noteworthy achievements during a five-year technical reform process by using group spirit. Guilin Rubber has worked to meet international manufacturing standards and has encouraged its staff members to take an active part in technical reforms and develop a great teamwork spirit to guarantee production safety and cut waste and costs to the utmost.
To do this, it has been encouraging employees to make more improvement proposals since 2011. From January to November of last year, it received 4,483 proposals, 304 of which were thought to be well worth considering. After the evaluation process was complete, 101 people had been given awards for their suggestions. And, thanks to the proposals, Guiling Rubber has saved more than 5 million yuan ($792,600).
