On October 19, “Doublewheel Cup” 2015 Rubber Machinery Annual Meeting/Globalization Experience Exchange Conference co-hosted by Rubber Machinery Division of China Chemical Industrial Equipment Association was held in Sanming, Fujian province. More than 230 delegates, including the leaders and experts from China Rubber Industry Association, China Chemical Industrial Equipment Association, rubber machinery manufacturers, rubber and tire enterprises and rubber machinery parts manufacturers, attended the Conference.
Fan Rende, honorary chairman of China Rubber Industry Association, Zhao Min, president of the council of China Chemical Industrial Equipment Association, Li Dongping, honorary director of Rubber Machinery Division of China Chemical Industrial Equipment Association and deputy general manager of China National Chemical Equipment Corporation, Zhang Hongbo, director of Rubber Machinery Division, and Luo Yixing, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shaxian County Committee, Sanming and executive deputy director of the Management Committee of Jinsha delivered remarks. Li Cheng, executive deputy general manager of Fujian Huaxiang Automatic Control Technology Company delivered welcoming address.
Li Dongping gave a keynote speech entitled “Globalization Strategies in China's Rubber Machinery Industry and Enterprises”; Zheng Jiangjia, deputy president of Qingdao MESNAC and Yao Hongjian, executive deputy general manager of Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group reported on their companies' globalization practices; and Professor Li Baiyuan of Qingdao University of Science and Technology and other experts made academic reports.
Under the theme of “globalization of rubber machinery industry”, the delegates discussed related issues and exchanged good practices. According to them, after more than a decade of rapid development, domestic rubber machinery industry currently suffered in-depth problems such as structural surplus of products. Meanwhile, since last year, the growth rate of tire industry, the downstream industry of rubber machinery, has been dropping. Problems such as lack of new projects, decreasing demand for rubber machinery and the stagnant markets can only be solved by innovation, upgrading and globalization. And only in this way can we maintain the sound and steady development of the industry and enterprises. Under the New Normals, the rubber machinery industry and related enterprises are encouraged to operate with a global view. Through globalization, they can shift crisis into opportunities, “domestic factories” into “international companies”, so as to reach the sustainable development goals. The good practices, academic exchanges and solutions put forward by leaders and experts represented our confidence in and support for rubber machinery industry, and guided the industry and enterprises to rise up to the challenges and pursue sustainable development.
Approved by China Chemical Industrial Equipment Association, the Conference adopted the list of Rubber Machinery Division leading members. Director units are Guilin Rubber Machinery, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co., Ltd, Dalian Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd, MESNAC, Tianjin Saixiang Technology Co., Ltd, Beijing BAMTRI Dairui Technology Development Co., Ltd, Fujian Huaxiang Automatic Control Technology Company, Shanghai Sinan Rubber Machinery Co., Ltd, China Chemical Guilin Engineering Co., Ltd, Beijing Jingye Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd and Inner Mongolia Fute Rubber & Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd. The Conference appointed Li Dongping as the honorary director, Chen Weifang as the general secretary and Deng Haiyan as the deputy general secretary of Rubber Machinery Division. The Conference invited Lv Baiyuan, Yu Qingxi, Jiang Bo, Cheng Yuan, Liu Menghua, Yang Shungen, Yang Weimin and some other experts to act as senior consultants of Rubber Machinery Division. The Conference discussed and adopted the “2014 Annual Work Summary and Draft of 2015 Work Plan of Rubber Machinery Division”. The Conference rewarded Deng Tiankui, Wang Ling and other fourteen 2015 advanced workers of Rubber Machinery Division. The leaders also visited Fujian Huaxiang Automatic Control Technology Company.
