Guilin Rubber Machinery received its first welding robot on April 22 and was put into production April 27 after days of installation and debugging.
In the company’s plate-work shop, the welding of bases, beams and connecting rods was done manually in the past. The work was very demanding because of the large size of materials and quality requirements. The robot will greatly raise production efficiency and welding quality, paving the way for future mechanical automation. The company will put millions into investment this year for technical innovation and robots to help accomplish production and management goals.
