As the improved, more international and specialized 13th Western China International Fair drew to a close, with more than one trillion yuan-worth of contracts and participants from 88 countries and regions, Bluestar Machinery was able to show some accomplishments.
The five-day fair (whose full name is Western China International Economy and Trade Fair) opened on Sept 25. The CNCE and the US’s Titanium Metal Corp (TIMET) reached a cooperation agreement in connection with Bluestar Machinery and Italy’s Loterios with a letter-of-intent on strategic cooperation. This marked the formal start of equipment development and international cooperation with Bluestar Machinery.
Bluestar Machinery is a prominent brand with more than 40 years of experience in pressure vessels for the chemical industry and a strong foundation in developing special stainless steel vessels. It also has technical skills in some areas of special materials, such as titanium, nickel and zirconium. After the “May 12” earthquake, the company, faced with a large amount of post-disaster rebuilding, came up with a strategic concept on developing special vessels and a programmable special vessel production line for rebuilding the production base in other places, which provided the essential conditions for a technical transformation, product structure adjustment, and industrial upgrade.
TIMET Corp is the world’s largest supplier of high-quality titanium products and is involved in titanium research, production, marketing, and other areas. Loterios manufactures specialty pressure vessels and pipelines and has experience in specialty equipment manufacturing.
This powerful combination of Bluestar Machinery and TIMET lays a good foundation for specialty vessel development and creates better conditions for cooperation by both parties. Bluestar Machinery expects the joint venture cooperation to develop specialty vessel technology even more. The two say they will put the emphasis on close coordination and reinforced communications to develop the specialty equipment market better for a winning cooperative project.
