Guilin Rubber Machinery developed a new type of energy-saving, environmentally friendly presses in early August, which boasts precision, convenient installation, easier operations, and good cost performance.
Its main feature is the brand-new central structure, also referred to as the capsule operation mechanism, which is an integral part of the tire shaping and curing press. It loads the capsule into the raw tire for shaping before vulcanization, then pulls it out after the vulcanization. It is supported with the mold emptier and separates tire from counter-die and peels it off the tire tread, and finally retreats the capsule from the outer tube.
It is not like the traditional central structures and has an advantage in detecting the operational location of the pistons through a displacement transducer. This allows the user to control the ring-hanging location within the scope of measurement. It is precise and has no shaping sleeves, so the height of shaping is easily decided. In addition, the welding between the ring adapter and cylinder barrel guarantee even heat transfer and welding quality. Also, in contrast to the former top-to-bottom dual-piston structure, the new central mechanism uses a single-piston double orientation structure to cut costs. The ring adapters, cylinder barrels and cylinder adapters are all superior in their welding and corrosion prevention, so the plasticity, ductility, and moldability are improved dramatically. Two compound sealing mats between the cylinder cover and piston rod prevent water spillage into the power water because of internal pressure and stop damage to other seals from over-heated power water.
This new type of central structures ran stably during trials and is suitable for all types of small to mid-sized tire shaping and curing presses. And it has been patented and widely applied in the manufacturing of new mechanical curing presses and suitable for transforming the old-style presses. It thus has immense promotion potential and outstanding benefits.
