Guilin Rubber Machinery Factory’s 20 projects swept the board in the 2013 Guangxi advanced technology and equipment renovation evaluation, the best record in the company’s history.
Four projects won the top prize, five won second and the rest, third. The top prize winners were the result of cooperation among production, technology and management departments. They reflected well on the production experience of frontline workers and solid theory background of technical workers. They utilized less to achieve more. Some projects have fundamentally solved major problems in processing vital parts and raised production efficiency by leaps and abounds. Some reduced annual maintenance costs by tens of thousands of yuan through independently designed treatment and process technology, helping resolve chronic problems and bottlenecks in production capacity.
The factory has continued to step up efforts in technical renovation in recent years, as well as hammer home the corporate culture of inclusiveness and innovation and advocate for small reforms, all of which has laid a solid foundation for reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
