Xi’an Lishan Automobile Factory recently signed a deal to export 48 special vehicles to a company in Angola. It was the first overseas deal for Lishan in 2014 and involved more than 5 million yuan ($805,700). This is the first time Lishan will export products to an African country.
Lishan learned from an e-commerce platform that the Angola company had intentions of importing container semitrailers and subsequently established contact with the company. The company soon found that the price, performance and applicability of Lishan’s products all fit with its requirements. After a visit to Lishan, the company immediately signed the deal.
Lishan stepped up quality monitoring and pulled together efforts from all departments to ensure quality and meet the deal deadline. Lishan will strive to establish long-term cooperation with clients and send more of its products abroad.
Lishan has taken active measures to expand the market in the New Year. It adjusted sales ideas to meet the requirements of the 100-day sales competition held by ChemChina and China National Chemical Equipment Corp and sped up marketing reform. It integrated products into the e-commerce sales system and formed a new sales model that combines brick-and-mortar and e-sales, as well as direct and commissioned marketing. Lishan also finished construction of an information exchange platform and used the network resources to increase its publicity and collect client information. It enabled Lishan to learn about the latest client demands, put clients into categories and assign sales personnel for tracking. Lishan also established stringent quality assurance and responsibility systems to upgrade vehicle control and testing. At the moment, Lishan mainly engages in producing special vehicles. It will strive for comprehensive development to better accomplish the annual marketing goal.
