On April 18, a fleet fully loaded with internal mixers and large press vulcanizers pulled slowly out of the gate of the old factory of Yiyang Rubber and Plastics Machinery and departed for Uzbekistan, a country along the "silk road” and with a long history.
So far, after more than half a year of great efforts, Yiyang Rubber and Plastics Machinery has preliminarily fulfilled the design and manufacturing tasks of the production line of internal mixer and steel wire rope conveyor belt press vulcanizer, which is a part of the Uzbek “Belt and Road” project of China. It is reported that the engineers and technicians of the company will cooperate closely with the Uzbek users and provide them with supports and services in the aspects of equipment installation, adjustment and operation, etc.
The fleet is ready for departure
Yiyang Rubber and Plastics Machinery undertook the tasks of production of GK-400N and GK-190E internal mixers as well as 2.2m×10.6m steel wire rope core large press vulcanizer production line, of which GK-400N and GK-190E internal mixers are developed by Yiyang Rubber and Plastics Machinery on the basis of the innovations of the imported technologies from Europe. “Yixiangji” internal mixers and products including the above two types of machines are sold worldwide, setting an example for Chinese rubber machinery manufacturers to import technologies from Europe and enter the European market.
The winning large press vulcanizer production line is developed by Yiyang Rubber and Plastics Machinery through independent innovation. The company, by following closely the development trends of the markets of press vulcanizer, decides to develop super-large press vulcanizer with a length of more than 16 meters and a width of more than two meters. The company has been holding about 70% of the domestic market shares of the segment, and its products are sold in countries and regions including Japan, Brazil, South Africa and Southeast Asian countries.

In the project, Yiyang Rubber and Plastics Machinery organized a project team consisting of experts from KraussMaffei and local technicians, so as to optimize and improve the design, technology, process, pipeline layout and appearance quality in an all-around way, design optimal production plan and process, and develop equipments with higher quality.
