On Dec. 8th, the Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co, Ltd. (Yiyang Rubber) held the Technical “Open Day”. In joint efforts with its partners, Yiyang Rubber introduced the technical plan of one-stage intelligent rubber mixing to nearly 60 company representatives and technical specialists from rubber products industry across the country, and shared with them the first successful case in applying this technical plan in the rubber products industry.
Company representatives and technical specialists conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges about the features and prospect of applying this technical plan, and visited the production base and R&D lab of Yiyang Rubber.
With the development of Industry 4.0 and the enhancement of application requirements, the traditional rubber industry is facing urgent needs in eliminating backward production capacity and upgrading the production techniques. Yiyang Rubber innovatively put forward the idea of applying the technical plan of one-stage intelligent rubber mixing into various areas of rubber products industry, such as car spare parts, sealing elements, rubber cable, and hose and belt. The technical plan is formulated with focuses on the tandem internal mixer and mixing techniques in which Yiyang Rubber is taking the lead, and by integrating dozens of advanced equipment from partners at home and abroad, such as the KraussmaffeiBerstorff extruder. Compared with traditional rubber mixing method, this technical plan can complete the final batch and master batch at one time, and can raise the production capacity by 100% with high efficiency, stable quality and low pollution. This plan is also featured by small floor space needed for the deployment of assembly lines, high degree of automation, and considerable savings in land utilization and labor cost.
Honghang Sealing Products Company of AVIC Guizhou Guihang Automotive Components Co., Ltd. is a top manufacturer specialized in the production of automotive seals in China. It’snewly-constructed rubber mixing production line is the first project applying the technical plan of one-stage intelligent mixing in the rubber products industry, containing various production processes of internal mixing, milling, extruding, and rubber filtering. In the deployment of the production line, Yiyang Rubber adopted the technical plan of one-stage intelligent mixing, and provided integrated solutions including consultation, designing, and the integration and supply of equipment, achieving the goal of safety, high efficiency, energy saving, emission reduction, and optimization of human resources. Currently, the production line has been delivered and is in smooth operation.
