The Guilin Rubber Machinery’s Gladness QC group was a recipient of the nation’s 2012 top quality control group award. The award is given by the China Quality Management Association, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, All-China Women's Federation, and China Association for Science and Technology.
Guilin Rubber Machinery Gladness QC team occupied themselves with improving the pass rate of the 1700 hydraulic tire vulcanizing disc grinding machine. The team members came up with a new type of grinder to replace the old inherent magnetic clamping equipment, which helped the disc grinding meet specifications and saved the company about 150,000 yuan.
