On March 3, Deyang Zhongche started to assemble a large piece of equipment for KraussMaffei at Changshou Economic Development Zone. The two staged a ceremony for equipment receipt and reached an agreement to build an injection molding machine (IMM) service demonstration base in Deyang Zhongche in Chongqing.
The “Rolls-Royce” of the rubber and plastics machinery industry seeks cooperation in Changshou
KraussMaffei is a world-leading German manufacturer of rubber and plastics machinery with a history of 178 years, known as the “Rolls-Royce” in the industry.
Deyang Zhongche was founded in 2016 as a supporting facility for Beijing Hyundai No.5 Factory (Chongqing) and covers a land of about 100 mu. After completion, it's expected to produce 900,000 sets of auto parts per year. It will mainly produce dashboards and tank brackets for Beijing Hyundai.
This deal is the first cooperation between the two, and also the debut of KraussMaffei's products in Changshou.

The biggest IMM in the auto industry
Deyang Zhongche needs to buy five IMMs to meet its production capacity. After comparison, it chose KraussMaffei's products over others, and the biggest among them is a KM3200/17200/MX CN with the clamp force of 3,200T, almost the biggest IMM in the auto industry and also so far the biggest and the most important IMM owned by Deyang Zhongche. Compared with Japanese and Korean IMMs used before, KraussMaffei's machines have better injection precision, faster response and are more energy efficient.

To build the first service base in Southwest China
On the same day, the two agreed to build the KraussMaffei IMM Service Demonstration Base in Deyang Zhongche. KraussMaffei will provide the best customer services and technical training and dispatch resident engineers to the latter, and Deyang will provide a studio to ensure long-term cooperation and mutual support.
The demonstration base will feature fast response, premium services and competitive total solutions, to show the practical use and reliability of KraussMaffei's equipment and promote its customer service philosophy and mode to car makers in Chongqing and in Southwest China.
This will be KraussMaffei's first customer service base in Southwest China, following its Shanghai service center.
