Recently, Sichuan Bluestar Machinery Co., Ltd. (Bluestar Machinery) was awarded the title of “National Intellectual Property Advanced Enterprise” (2017-2020) by the State Intellectual Property Office. This was the company’s another award in intellectual property management after it was approved by the “National Intellectual Property Management System” last year.
Intellectual property is an important part of enterprises’ core competitiveness. Bluestar Machinery places special emphasis on the creation, application, and protection of intellectual property. Ten years ago, the company established the “Patent Committee” responsible for the strategic layout, application review, analysis and maintenance of patents, and conducted comprehensive and systematic training on intellectual property for the employees to improve their cognition of intellectual property, confidentiality awareness and innovation ability. It has been focused on forging an intellectual property advanced enterprise. In 2010, the company obtained the first serviceable patents. It started to implement the national standard “Enterprise Intellectual Property Management” in 2016. Through continuous improvement of the enterprise’s intellectual property management norms and process construction in product R&D, procurement, design, manufacturing and marketing, a procedural, institutionalized, standardized and systematic intellectual property management system is formed.
In recent years, Bluestar Machinery has continued to enhance the protection of intellectual property innovation, improved its R&D capability with innovation as the impetus, and cooperated with well-known research institutes in China to conduct a series of projects, such as the application of ECT micro-electrolysis technology in chemical recycling water treatment, the research on key equipment for catalytic wet oxidation of high-concentration organic wastewater, the R&D of composite plate spherical tank, etc. In 2017, the company invested nearly RMB10 million in technology.
This year, Bluestar Machinery will take opportunities of the research and application of key frog technology in inter-city and high-speed track, the horizontal-tube falling film low-temperature multi-effect sewage concentrating and production of distilled water etc. to promote the upgrading of product structure through technological innovation.
