Recently, Tianhua Institute of Chemical Machinery & Automation Co., Ltd. (Tianhua Institute), a subsidiary of China National Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd., has been formally approved by the National Development and Reform Commission to establish the “National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for ESEP Chemical Technology and Equipment”.
As an important innovation platform for connection between national and provincial engineering research centers, the “National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for ESEP Chemical Technology and Equipment” is a significant component of the national innovation system construction, mainly responsible for enhancing the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy, and striving to solve key technology and equipment bottlenecks in the industry development with the center on the regional industry characteristics and advantages.
The Center will research and develop the key generic technology, cutting-edge technology, modern engineering technology and disruptive technological innovation urgently required for industry technology progress and restructuring according to the demands for the development of regional economy, as well as chemical, petrochemical, coal chemical and related industries, and will undertake the scientific research & development and engineering research tasks assigned by the State, regions and industries. Engineering and system integration of major scientific and technological achievements with significant market value will be implemented by orienting to the market, getting hold of the technological development trend and combining industry, university and research, and technology transfer and diffusion will be realized by the market mechanism so as to continuously provide mature advanced technologies, processes and their technical products and equipment for production in a large scale. In terms of regional support, the Center will facilitate the improvement of independent innovation capacity for chemical equipment, provide verification and consulting services on chemical equipment engineering technology, and cultivate high-level talents in engineering technology research and management for regions and industries by digesting, absorbing and re-innovating introduced technologies and carrying out international cooperation and communication, so as to constantly support the local construction of the modern economic system and improve the innovation capability and competitiveness of regional economy.
It is known that the “National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for ESEP Chemical Technology and Equipment” is another national technology innovation platform of Tianhua Institute, which will promote the basic innovation capacity building of Tianhua Institute, improve the technological innovation capacity, better facilitate the transformation of new technologies and achievements, and increase socio-economic benefits.
