In mid-December, the GE5 experimental internal mixer produced by Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery successfully passed the on-site test and acceptance by the Slovak customer. It was the company’s sixth internal mixer exported to Europe after the GK190E internal mixer was smoothly sold to Italy in October.
GE5 internal mixer is the smallest product among Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery’s E-type internal mixers. It adopts meshing rotor design, which can make rubber compound mix evenly and have low temperature rise. It is suitable for refining various rubber compounds and plastics with high quality. It is mainly applicable in tire and rubber products enterprises and for laboratory-based rubber refining in colleges and universities. At present, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery exports six internal mixers to Europe, all of which are E-type. To obtain the CE certification of the EU market, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery has designed special safety protection measures for the equipment in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic transmission aspects to meet the safety requirements of the EU’s CE certification.
Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery is one of the earliest Chinese enterprises to introduce internal mixer technology from Europe. Through digestion, absorption and re-innovation, GE580 internal mixer with China’s then largest specifications, the first series internal mixer production line, and one-step intelligent rubber mixing production line in China were successively developed. The technology has been domestically produced, winning the favor of Chinese and foreign customers. GE250 internal mixer was listed as a major equipment project in the China National Tenth Five-Year Plan. It was first ordered by an Italian customer in 2004, becoming a model for China’s heavy rubber machinery products to enter the European market for the first time.
Currently, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery has the production capacity ranging from the minimum specification GK1.5 to the maximum specification GK1000T internal mixer. It has developed two series of nearly 30 specifications of N-type (shear type) and E-type (meshing type) internal mixers. The rotor-type has evolved from the standard quadrangular type to ZZ-2, PES3, PES5, hexagonal and other types. The business has also shifted from single machine sales to sales of intelligent rubber mixing production line and from product output to service output.
