On May 16, 2018, the first annual meeting of Gansu Technology Innovation Alliance of Drying Equipment Industry for Energy Saving and Environmental Protection (the “Alliance”) was held at Tianhua Institute.
All member units aim to strengthen technical cooperation and exchanges, enhance their overall competitiveness, promote the development of the energy-saving and environmentally-friendly drying equipment industry in Gansu Province, and build a harmonious industrial alliance. They held in-depth discussions and reached consensus on operation models, cooperation directions, resource sharing methods, and joint declarations of research projects.
The Alliance was approved by Gansu Provincial Industry and Information Technology Commission (GPIITC) in December 2015. The Alliance includes Tianhua Institute of Chemical Machinery & Automation Co., Ltd., Gansu Aokai Agricultural Products Drying Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd., Gansu Provincial Machinery Science Research Institute Co., Ltd., Tianshui Huayuan Pharmaceutical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou University of Technology and Gansu Agricultural University. Tianhua Institute serves as the leading unit and support organization of the Alliance.
At the conference, Lou Donglan, Deputy Director of Technology Innovation Department of GPIITC, read out the Approval of Gansu Provincial Industry and Information Technology Commission for the Establishment of Gansu Technology Innovation Alliance of Drying Equipment Industry for Energy Saving and Environmental Protection. He Deqiang, Secretary-general of the Alliance, introduced member units, organizational structure, and personnel. Each member unit detailed its situation, technical advantages, and development direction in the drying equipment industry. Representatives said that the Alliance is an excellent platform for the cooperation between enterprises, universities, and institutes. It is important to focus on the R&D of advanced process and equipment, application of results, and technical services in the energy-saving and environmentally-friendly drying field. We need to bring together innovation resources, establish the collaborative innovation mechanism, and give full play to advantages of all member units. We also need to develop critical technologies and equipment with common features in the industry, accelerate the transformation and industrial application of scientific and technological achievements, and promote the rapid development of energy-saving and environmentally-friendly drying equipment industry in the province.
The 2018 Annual Meeting was successfully held for the purpose of complementing each other, increasing industry reputation, enhancing market competitiveness, facilitating the transformation and promotion of technological achievements and the healthy and orderly development of the Alliance in the future, and laying a solid foundation for the technological advancement and innovation in the industry of energy-saving and environmental-friendly drying equipment in our province.
