On the occasion of Chongyang Festival, the party committee of Xi’an Lishan Automobile Factory rewarded the elected “good people in community”. This was the first such event, aiming to foster Socialist Core Values, commend good people and their good deeds and improve the morality of community residents. By doing so, the community can be more harmonious and can develop steadily.
In six months, based on self-recommendation and fellow residents recommendation, and through the primary selection and semifinal selection of the review penal and the secret ballot of community residents, the event rewarded six “five-virtue families”, six models for respecting the seniors, six “good people in community”. Nearly 2000 families in the community took part in the election.
